Meet the Nettle — a beautifully feminine Liberty Tana Lawn blouse, designed and made by me in my East Sussex studio.
Made from Liberty’s beautifully soft Tana Lawn, the Nettle has a relaxed, flattering shape that is easy to wear with jeans, skirts or trousers. It’s the kind of blouse that feels special without being too dressy — pretty enough to make an outfit, but comfortable enough to wear all day.
Every Nettle is individually cut and sewn by me, with careful attention to fit, finish and the little details that make a beautifully made garment special.

What makes it unique?
A rounded Peter Pan collar, delicate gathers at the sleeve head and wrist, and careful French-seam finishes give the Nettle its distinctive Wildseed Stitches character.

About Liberty Tana Lawn
Liberty Tana Lawn is a beautifully fine 100% cotton fabric with a silky-smooth handle and an exceptionally soft feel against the skin. Lightweight and breathable, it drapes beautifully while being comfortable enough for everyday wear.
The fabric is pre-washed, so it won't shrink when cared for according to the care instructions.

Gorgeous! Every stitch is beautiful
The blouse is perfectly made, with great attention to detail. But be careful of the sizing! Even with the difference in US and English sizing, they run small. If not for that, this rating would be a 5 out of 5.
This shirt is one of my favorites. It is a beautiful print and beautifully made. My only concern it is a little short in the torso. I'm 5'7 (120 lbs) and I ordered a size uk 8. I should have maybe gone with a size up just in case it shrinks.
This shop exceeded all my expectations.
