About Wildseed Stitches
Made by hand. Made to order. Made with love.
Hello, I'm Charlotte — the maker behind Wildseed Stitches. I design and sew every garment by hand in my studio in East Sussex, UK, using some of the most beautiful fabric in the world: Liberty Tana lawn cotton.
Wildseed Stitches was born from a deep love of fabric, craft, and the belief that clothing should be something you treasure. Every piece I make is cut, sewn, and finished by me — no factories, no shortcuts, just careful, considered making.
The Studio
My studio is tucked away in the East Sussex countryside, where I spend my days surrounded by bolts of Liberty print fabric, the hum of my sewing machine, and plenty of tea. It's a small, personal space — and that intimacy is reflected in every garment that leaves it.
I share glimpses of studio life, new fabric arrivals, and works-in-progress on Instagram @wildseedstitches— come and follow along.
Handmade to Order
Everything at Wildseed Stitches is made to order. That means when you place an order, I make your garment especially for you — in your size, in the fabric you've chosen.
This approach means a little patience is required: please allow 2–4 weeks for your order to be made and dispatched. I'll keep you updated along the way, and I promise it's worth the wait.
Making to order also means I never overproduce. There's no warehouse of unsold stock — just beautiful garments made intentionally, one at a time.
Why Liberty Tana Lawn?
Liberty Tana lawn is one of the finest cotton fabrics available. Woven from long-staple cotton at a very high thread count, it's lightweight, breathable, and incredibly soft against the skin. It drapes beautifully, washes well, and — crucially — it gets better with age.
Liberty's archive of prints spans over 150 years of design history. Each season brings new colourways and patterns alongside beloved classics. Choosing a Liberty print is a small act of joy, and I love helping customers find the one that feels like them.
Slow Fashion
Wildseed Stitches is rooted in the slow fashion ethos: buy less, choose well, make it last. I believe in creating garments that are worth repairing, worth passing on, and worth wearing for years.
When you buy from Wildseed Stitches, you're not just buying a blouse or a dress — you're investing in something made with real skill and real care, by a real person who wants you to love wearing it.
